What you can do with a MOLTamp skin

A skin is more than a color theme. MOLTamp's skin system covers the chrome of the entire window: title bar, sidebar, status bar, prompt, syntax highlighting, background gradients, ambient effects, even custom cursor shapes. Apply a skin and your terminal stops looking like 1994.

Every skin in this gallery is community-contributed and free. Download one, double-click the file, and MOLTamp imports it into your Custom Skins library automatically. Switch between skins from Settings → Appearance — no restart, no config reshuffle.

FAQ

About MOLTamp skins

What is a MOLTamp skin?

A skin is a downloadable theme for MOLTamp — the skinnable shell for Claude Code, Codex CLI, Gemini CLI, and Aider. Skins change colors, fonts, effects, and ambient visuals so your AI terminal looks the way you want to code.

Are these skins free?

Yes. Every community skin in the gallery is free to download. MOLTamp itself is free forever; the optional $20 Pro unlock removes the support popup but does not gate skins.

How do I install a skin?

Download the .moltamp file, double-click, and MOLTamp imports it into your Custom Skins library automatically. Apply it from Settings → Appearance.

Can I make my own skin?

Yes. The skinning guide walks through every token in the system. Built skins can be uploaded to the community gallery from your dashboard.
